Lightweight acid-resistant castables have good physical and chemical properties, with low bulk density, fast water solidification, high use temperature, compressive strength increases with the increase of temperature and acidity, low thermal conductivity, and low linear expansion coefficient.

Lightweight acid castables are composed of lightweight aggregates, powders, adhesives, and additives. The main component of the adhesive is water glass. The lightweight aggregate has a large porosity, rough surface, and a particle size of about 5mm. The water absorption and moisture absorption of the aggregate and powder are large, so the fluidity after mixing according to the mixing ratio is poor.
