SK32, SK34, SK36, SK38, SK40 Refractory Bricks

Any brick that can withstand high temperatures above 1580℃ is called a refractory brick. It is a finished product obtained by mixing refractory clay with clinker (calcined and crushed clay), stirring, pressing into shape, drying and calcining. There are also siliceous and high-alumina bricks. According to the brand, it can be divided into SK32, SK34, SK36, SK38, and SK40 refractory bricks. Refractory bricks are mainly used in furnace linings, flues, chimneys, etc. According to their shape and specifications, they can be divided into two categories: standard and special-shaped. The specifications of standard refractory bricks are 230 mm × 114 mm × 65 mm, and special-shaped refractory bricks are processed on-site or required to be supplied by the manufacturer.

Rongsheng Refractory Bricks

Rongsheng Refractory Bricks Manufacturer

Refractory bricks can be divided into two types according to their refractory degree: ordinary type (refractory degree is 1580~1770℃) and advanced refractory bricks (refractory degree is 1770~2000℃). According to their chemical properties, they can be divided into three types: acidic, alkaline and neutral.

Rongsheng refractory material manufacturer is a professional refractory brick manufacturer with a history of more than ten years. The main products are SK series refractory bricks, special refractory bricks, first-class high-aluminum refractory bricks, corundum refractory bricks, and special-shaped refractory bricks. We continuously improve new technologies and research new processes to ensure that product quality meets the needs of different customers. Strict product factory inspection system ensures the stability of product quality.

SK-32 Fireclay Bricks for Industrial Furnace Applications

The refractory bricks produced by our factory are wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, spalling-resistant, low creep, good thermal shock stability, and the service life is 1.5 times that of ordinary products. Mainly used in blast furnaces, hot blast furnaces, carbon roasting furnaces, carbon calcining furnaces, coke ovens, steel ladles, casting systems. Boilers, cement kilns, glass kilns and various kiln linings and thermal equipment, etc. Suitable for metallurgy, machinery, building materials, casting, ceramics, electricity, petroleum, chemical and other industries.

What are the types of SK refractory bricks used in rotary kilns?

In rotary kilns, clay bricks (insulation bricks) are used in the preheating and calcining zone area, and the refractoriness is below SK35.

SK: Refractory index, or refractoriness. SK is the standard. Or CNXXX. For example:

  • SK-40: Al₂O₃≥82%, SiO₂≤10%, Fe₂O₃≤2.0%, refractoriness≥1850℃, bulk density≥2.7g/cm³.
  • SK-38: Al₂O₃≥70%, SiO₂≤28%, Fe₂O₃≤2.0%, refractoriness≥1850℃, bulk density≥2.45g/cm³.
  • SK-36: Al₂O₃≥58%, SiO₂≤38%, Fe₂O₃≤2.0%, refractoriness≥1790℃, bulk density≥2.20g/cm³.
  • SK-34: Al₂O₃≥42%, SiO₂≤54%, Fe₂O₃≤2.0%, refractoriness≥1750℃, bulk density≥2.00g/cm³.
  • SK-32: Al₂O₃≥34%, SiO₂≤62%, Fe₂O₃≤2.0%, refractoriness≥1710℃, bulk density≥1.95g/cm³.
